Residents flock to Murder Mystery night at local sports club

Bordon residents gathered at a murder mystery themed quiz night at The Bordon and Oakhanger Sports Club (BOSC), hosted by DD Storyteller, a Hampshire based freelance writer, author and storyteller.

The bespoke content for the evening was based on the book ‘Hats Off To Murder,’ by DD Storyteller, writing as D S Nelson. The story is based around central character, Blake Hetherington – a milliner, who is fascinated by human nature. He is confronted by two deaths, a sudden disappearance and a visit from Miss Delilah Delibes – setting him on a path to solving a mystery.

The event, which sold out well in advance, was one of the first themed activity evenings to be held at the new BOSC facility, since its opening.

Naomi Metcalfe, community development officer for The Whitehill & Bordon Regeneration Company, said: “It’s great to see the community’s interest in the new facilities provided at BOSC. The clubroom and adjoining bar are a great venue for fun and social events. Expect to see more, regular events like this at BOSC.”

DD Storyteller says:

“We had a fantastic time meeting the characters, gathering the clues and solving the mystery. Hats off to all the teams involved, Delilah is looking forward to the next mystery.”
